A very attractive specimen, and rarely seen as far as the Indian Zeolites go, is this “nodular” Prehnite crystal set on a thin layer of minute glittery Quartz crystals. This is a very showy piece that shines under the cabinet lights, the matrix has been trimmed to reduce the weight and for display purposes. Prehnite was named in honor of the Dutch Colonel, Hendrik von Prehn who discovered it in 1774.
