The Jungle Cacti is group of very unusual cactus species, Unlike the very spiny cacti adapted to the arid regions these harmless epiphytic plants are found in tropical areas, often in forests growing on rock ledges and in trees with the succulent stems drooping down like veils. The jungle cacti comprises of a group of several genera that has adapted to higher rainfall conditions and forest environments. These plants are often found in association with bromeliads, orchids and other tropical plants.
